Please do yourself a favor and remove it, then dispose in trash. There are so many threads on these and what crap they are its not funny. lesson learned and money lost, nothing more than a fancy packaged resistor radioshack carries 2 for a buck. As you just learned, they are worthless and cause problems.

Sadly, what ^^^ said.

You should definitely check out the how to archive for neat ideas on how to really mod up your car. There is also a thread which specialized in pointing out all the Ebay crapware so that this doesn't happen to you again.

Best of luck!

Worst thing you could do to your engine , I wouldnt even start it again with it in place and try to get your money back if you paid through paypal you only have 30 days or CC , this way you teach the crooks selling them something also

Ill tell you this... they shouldnt even allow people to sell those damn "chips", they are basically perpetrating fraud. Ebay has plenty of these crooks. If you need something for your car, check out webpages that are from reputable companies. is pretty good, considering that most of the stuff that they advertise, they use.
