New Tune - Data Log?

I purchased my Xcal2 a few years back and I'm not certain the tune I use is optimized for my car.

What is the best way to get an optimized tune without the need for a dyno? Can I use my Xcal2 to send data to a tuner such as Tom?

Also, should I look at switching my plugs to Ford's copper plugs gapped at .060 for optimum performance?

Thanks
