if i am puttin down between 250 to 300 at the wheels. what setting should the device be at

Ideally you would need to know where your maf is pegging and adjust so that it gives the necessary range. The more you adjust, the more it can affect drivability so you want to adjust just to the level you need and not just set it as high as it can go and hope for the best.

If you are running a 3" MAF tube you more than likely will be on the 3 setting.

pull off the red diablo thing in the middle so you can access the dial. It comes with a tool but you can just use pliers

thank you . sorry i have been on vacation in nj. ya i was just wondering if i put it on one would it just mess up the tune all the way. because i am goin to have to drive the car a lil to do a remote tune on it. so i want to do the safest way possible.

It's not that hard to hook up, I would just put it in when you get to the tuning location. And be sure your tuner knows what else to change in the tune when you use the mafia. There are instructions on Diablo's website.

You should ask for a base tune with these changes made before even making your base pull.
