MAFia?

I keep hearing about MAFia and I understand the princal and such, my question is at what boost level would one be needed ? I plan on running 12lbs with stock MAF

Depends on a lot of other factors, but you might need one to successfully custom tune it. You might need a larger MAF tube to get good resolution, too.

With a 3 inch MAF , Blowthrough you would need one at about 10psi

Its best to have one when first tuning , your not going to stay at 12

larger tube gives lower resolution, higher range.

i thought it depended on the maf voltage? is'nt 10 pound of pressure on different turbos going to have different results? like a small turbo compared to a pretty big turbo.

99% of people use 3", it still has plenty of resolution to get idle and part throttle tuned very well.

orite I had my foot in my mouth. bigger tube for more range, smaller tube for better resolution.

basically you want the smallest tube that gives you the range you need... and like he said, almost every FI focus uses a 3" maf tube w/mafia
