XCal 3 ATX shift programming problem

Help! My tuner, a personal friend in Fla., has been trying to come up with an 87 octane performance tune. His first file had the 1-2 shift too firm so he has sent a couple of files where he has been trying to soften it by dropping the line pressure. Everything was going fine and he almost had the shifting ironed out and had gotten a little extra performance out of it (on 87 you won't get a lot). All of a sudden the 2-3 shift started shifting from 2 to neutral (it seemed) and the eng. revs. would go from 3000 to 6000. If you let off it would go ahead and shift into 3. All my tuner was doing was dropping the line pressure by revising a former file. He's not sure what's going on and I know I don't know enough to be any help! I set it back to stock and the 2-3 shift does fine. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks for any input!

My "Pocket Rocket": '05 Silver Metallic Escape XLT, 3.0L V6, 4X4, MAC SRI, custom 2-1/4" catback w/turbo muffler, SCT XCal3 93 octane ECU tune, approx. 240 hp, 4X4 fuse pulled (rice humiliator)

Wife's: '08 SES, Airaid SRI, no resonator, SCT tuned

There is more then just line psi that needs to be changes , if it isnt done correctly it could hurt the ATX

With out seeing the tune and what all was changed it would be hard to say whats going on
