Powerworks SCT Tune

I was wondering if anyone out there has the stock powerworks tune in SCT format? Just trying to save myself some time in the tuning process.. working like 12-16 hrs. a day M-F... trying to learn the advantage software and getting my car running in what spare time I have.. having the stock tune would save my ass right now...

Just start from the zetec blown value file... the file is crap but it will be better than going from bone stock.

lol.. yea, thanx for the advice.. SCT is just soooo different.. well tuning MAF cars anyway.. I'm use to seeing fuel/spark tables based on Vaccuum/Pressure X RPM on a MAP based car..

Almost makes me wish I had went though the trouble of putting a AEM FI/C, and been done with it.. would have to live with a cel light always being on.. but I can see the SCT PRP being a awesome tool once I get around the learning curve..

Yea.. I suppose your right. Its just the damn maf transfer function was giving me hell.. I understood how it worked just couldn't get my commanded air fuels pin-pointed. After watching LaSota's video on Advantage, and using the spreadsheet that comes with it.. I got it nailed now!

Haven't gotten much further than that.. car runs good.. only added in +2 degrees globally.. off of SCT's blown zetec value file. Which brings up an important question!

Because of the powerworks blower.. whining and being right over the knock sensor.. Would you, Tom.. know what knock voltage I should be looking for?.. Or anyone for that reason?.. cause I know this datalog of the knock voltage looks like someone going into cardiac arrest.. but it damn sure isn't knocking.. and it parallels the other telemetry in the log in a way that makes me think it's just picking up blower noise.

Thank all..

You know you can log the actual knock retard, instead of sensor voltage? Would probably be much more useful information.

You shouldnt be +/- in the global values , you should be doing it in the spark tables as needed

And way the crap do people do commanded AF to set your closed loop trims the STFT1 will tell you what to change the MTF by in % and just change them , no pinpointing BS spread sheets , its only as hard as you make it

There is a PID for knock a true value of the timing adding or subtracting use that not voltage
