Ford Racing did sell coilovers back in the day, they have since discontinued them and sold remaining inventories for cheap (like $500). They were actually made by KW for Ford Racing and look like the ones on the left of the pic that I posted earlier. The only difference between the FR and KW v1 setups was the color (the FR ones were blue instead of purple).

You can deflate your tires No seriously, suspension is something where you don't want to put cheap stuff in it. I believe the least expensive set up is the suspension, you will be able to tell the difference and it is a good start.

I'd suggest a setup that includes both springs and dampers. The least expensive of the spring/damper kits is the SVT kit, you can usually get it for $250-300, but it only drops about .75"-1".

Some other kits to consider, and rough prices:
Eibach Pro-Kit w/ dampers (1.5" drop): $500
Eibach Sport w/ dampers(2.0" drop): $500
H&R Touring Cup Kit (1.4" drop): $675
H&R Sport Cup Kit (2.5" drop): $625
Koni Sport Kit w/ Koni Yellows (1.6" drop): $750

Of those the Koni and H&R stuff are the best for autox and occasional track days, while the Eibachs are more street oriented.

I would strongly urge you to go to nthcoast.com or yahoo Roush Direct (an ebay store) and look up the Roush suspension set-up. Since the Roush Focus is no longer made the parts available are hella cheap n you can't beat Roush quality.

I was looking at the Roush kits.Do i need springs? Do you know how much it would lower my car?
