Unhappy crack

well i was goind over to meet my friends a couple miles from my house 2 days ago. and i hit this pavement transition and hear a loud crack. (oh shit what now!) well anyway so i pull up to my friends and make a pretty sharp right turn and hear this click click click. and i was like oh no did i crack the rack or something. so i brought the foci to work and put her on the lift and looked at the rack and didnt see any signs of damage. but than i looked at my springs and sure enough my passanger front spring is cracked in half and just hanging there. so now i going to lower my car! i thought it was the best time to do so! i will take pics when shes all done. got any recommendations on which springs to buy? hit me you back, thanks guys

There is a recall on early foci springs. Look at doing that first. At least that way you can pull them off when you get your lowering springs (and dampers!) and sell them on here for a few bucks.

oh yeah i did hear something about that. so what would be the best way going about the recall situation? just bring it to the dealer and they should know what to do?
