Hey all, so I just got a 2005 Ford Focus ST and I had a quick question. Since my focus has a little over 80k miles on the stock shocks, I figured it might be time to replace them. I came across the M-3000-ZX3 and M-3000-ZX3A kits. From what I've read elsewhere I was thinking the M-3000-ZX3A would be the best choice, $340 @ summit racing. Anyways I was wondering how much I should expect to pay to have it installed, and should I look for special performance places? Or will any good shop do it.

Any competent shop should be able to install new struts/shocks and springs, and do a four wheel alignment. Talk to Steve @Tousley Ford before you buy anywhere else. He not only has great prices, he has great knowledge of Foci. For instance, he will ask for your VIN to determine whether yours is an early or a late '05 so you get the correct package. I replaced the stock ST suspension on my '05 with the SVT shocks/struts and springs (from Steve). Excellent dd set up. Good luck.
