3rd belt at 92k miles....iono about that one..if the stock tensioners and idlers lasted me until 145k (and many others well past the 100k mark) im sure you shouldent have worry about any failures...just dont be rice and leave the cam cover off thats asking for something too go wrong....and maybe if your putting a "kit" like gates or acdelco would I change mine every 50k...the Ford parts are solid.

Just rolled 79K, planning on garaging it before it hits 100K as my weekend toy. (Had a 550 miles weekly commute for years.. now under 30 miles a week.)

Basic repairs:
New Rotors and Pads (40K)
New Tires (41K)
Cat Mount Replaced (45K)
Sway Bar End Links (50K)
Clutch Master Cylinder, (65K, but was leaking since 40K)
New Wheels and Tires (75K)
Brake Light Switch (78K)

Brakes are set to be replaced (new pads and rotors) just waiting for my shocks to come in. New serpentine belt is waiting to be installed... Also replacing the headlights soon (yellowed due to the Texas sun..)

Just bought my 02 SVTF today with 105K on it. Previous owner took great care of the car and it runs and looks like its off the showroom floor!

Mac, you may want to consider taking it to a body shop to have them wet sand and rub the headlights before you buy a new set. I am a body tech and I do it quite often with excellent results. They should charge no more than 30 dollars for it.
