FYI. lose Battery post

My Niece bought a ST 8 Months ago. Yesterday she texted she needed a jump.I went to help noticed the positive cable was loose on terminal nut was tight. Loosened the nut to pull cable to clean post and clamp. Looked at the bolt and like wedge that tightens the clamp. The washer that is suppose to be on the top under the nut was on the wedge part so it wouldn't tight on battery. Flipped washer to top side reinstalled and now its nice and tight.Might want to look at yours to see if its right.

That same type of clamp will again not hold if the terminal post and hole get a good cleaning. The fit is such that the slightest removal of any material at all like with a post tool will loosen it enough that the nut can be very tight and the terminal still be twisted easily by hand, an obvious problem causer. It's happened here onsite scads of times, that terminal design is not one of Ford's better ideas.
