Painting a car a really different color is a value killer.. Unless you spend big bucks on the paint job. (But the car will STILL be worth less than if you did not repaint it a widely varying color.

Getting a cheap ($2,000) paint job is a mistake unless it is basically the same color.
Spending $5K to $20K will get you a great paint job. Specially the $20K paint job.

Yeah so I definitely like the 15+ body better, the steering wheel is dope and i like the backup cam.

But the red one seems better from a financial standpoint. 1750 less and 10k less miles.

I've also been looking since i totaled my car a month ago and these are still the best deals ive found. Not really looking to go more than 150 miles away. Dont want a 4 hour trip, and dont really trust having a car shipped like that.

Shipping a vehicle isn't as bad as you think + don't know how you came to the conclusion of not trusting having your car trucked.

I have had 4 cars shipped to me...over the last 15 years...and I have not had any problems with the shipping. Knock on wood this one will be the same.

I've also had 3 car towed/trucked over to my place. Not a problem with any of them. As for the years I'm partial to 13/14 body lines and bumpers. Something about the square fogs set me off. I'm old school cobra guy so the round lights just fit. Don't narrow your search, I drove 8 hours last year to pick up a 13 with 36K miles for 8,500 cash. Good luck with your search.

So is 22.250 not a good price for a 2015 ST3 with 23k miles? I think I'm getting the car for around 20.200 before taxes and all that BS

Have you checked CarMax? I've heard they will ship almost any car they have for a reasonable price

I did a quick check of KBB value on a 2015 ST-3 in red 23k miles and it said fair market value is $18500-22900 with a avg retail price of $21,054...obviously before TTT. I don't know how much I trust KBB, but with that in mind, I would say your price is a good price since it includes TTT. Obviously a "good price" is subjective...if we feel we get a good price we do.

What was their original asking price before TTT and what price did you get it for before TTT? I always look at DOC fees, yes dealers charge them, but all are not created equal. The dealer I bought my ST from is in PA and their dealer fees are $135..compared to a dealer in FL I was talking to that was $699. So by going across state lines you can save $500+ right there.

Here is a link for all 50 states and what the avg dealer/doc fees are by state. Some states limit them, most don't.

Original asking price is 21999. Which would be about 23.5 ishhh after all that. Told them 22.8 oroginally and they said yes. Waited a week more and said I want 22 flat. They came back and said 22.2 is the best they could do. Which is effectively getting me the car at about 20.5 before TTT
