These look great! Look very functional and I bet they are! Not worried about rain or dirt over here, the engine's see rain and dirt under normal operation anyway... seems dumb to worry about such things but that's me.

They have a youtube video that is pretty neat showing airflow out of vents.

With vents and scoops much larger debris and dust does accumulate over having a closed hood and it doesn't take a degree to see that when you have holes in the hood.
My STI engine is always a bit more dusty up top vs the Focus which accumulates very little in the same time driving.

Agreed! The engine bay will definitely get a bit dirtier quicker. But the extra cooling will be well worth it in my book.

Extra cooling on a turbo charged motor but on a NA motor I doubt there is any real world gains but they do look cool. Just have to keep the engine clean since a dirty engine runs a bit hotter.
