There are people who do silly things, bikes or cars.

There are also car drivers who don't understand WHY people on Cycles do the things they do, like NEVER riding in the center of the lane where cars THINK they should be.

Riding solo you're always in the left wheel track for good traction & safe road positioning, cars think that you're challenging them and forcing them out of your way - a built in conflict.

You think motorcyclists are trying to cause accidents? That's rich. We really think we would win a match of chicken on our 500-700 pound bikes vs. your 3,000 pound car. /sarcasm Get real. Sailor brought up great points about road positioning and if you knew anything about it you would understand. People in cars leak fluids and drop mufflers from time to time. Where do those things end up? Right in the center of the lane. Also being close to the center of the lane makes us more visible to oncoming traffic. Especially if we're behind another vehicle. We're not all squids and we ourselves hate squids.

Can confirm, am millennial (barely). Hate them myself. I don't make eye contact with anyone ever except STs and other sweet Fords and Focii.

Ok I actually have a friendly road sighting story. In Cincinnati, I am sitting at a stop light in my TB, when up rolls another TB with the driver saying "well, well, well! Look what we have here!" We were on a four lane business route, which when the light turned green we both rolled slow chatting about mods through the windows, jamming up traffic. It was great, and we were facebook friends in about an hour lol.

With the exception of the Facebook thing, I did that with a fellow 18-wheeler driver in accident traffic. Lol

Well today was different. On freeway..
A new design (15' or 16') ST in that Magnetic grey color passed me. We both waved.. I caught up, we played in thin traffic for a bit then he went on and I slowed back down.
Fun, and felt connected to another ST owner in a good way.

buy a Vette, we always wave to each other. Oh and leg out that tranny past 2000 rpm every time. I rarely shift at less than 6000, the Ford SVT group did a great job in designing an engine that will wind out like a mad hatter...short shifting it is just a travesty.

Waving only works 90% of the time when riding a motorcycle seeing other motorcyclists. When I see other ZX2's I just look, nothing more, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm as we do about our cars. Maybe they got an ST because it was cooler then the base model, or they got a killer deal, but not enthusiastic enough to share it with others. I wouldn't get bent out of shape about it.
