If I'm on the highway/interstate, my mileage is actually in the high-20's to mid-30's in the FoST. Both cars actually get about the same all-highway mileage, the FoST just takes a larger hit in trying to move off of the light.

Sure. But a 20gl tank with 16gal in it won't weigh much more than a 16gal tank with 16gals in it. That is the more relevant figure for performance. Or maybe either tank with 1gal in it. :-)
