It's probably not that. I don't have any rattles at idle, they always come on when I'm moving. I have only heard rattling from behind the steering wheel.

What's funny is that they seem to keep jumping around. Lately I haven't heard my A pillar rattling anymore, but I am hearing more rattles coming from both the gauge cluster (I think) and the center console. I swear, my car is haunted!

I'm going to have a hell of a time with the dealership getting these fixed.

If you drop your car off at the dealer for rattles= make sure to take everything out of the console & glovebox & trunk. I've dealt w/ rattles before.

what I now don't like is the gear ratios for 5th and 6th , they seem too low for "highway gears".... in 6th at 130km/h (70ish mph) the car is up at 3 grand, the reason I don't like this is b/c when driving in the city the car tells me to shift at around 1800-2000 when Im cruising slowly and after the shift the car is cruising at 1200 ish. why does it want you to cruise at such a low rpm yet the high gears make it impossible to keep the rpm down on the highway. i have an 89 mustang with lower gears in the rear diff and i would die for a 6th gear, and in the ST i would die for a 7th gear. RANT complete.

Just cause the shift light comes on you don't have to shift. What gears are in your 8.8 & what size tires are you running? I've had 3.08's in mine.

This. Also, don't forget that LSPI is a concern for turbocharged direct-injection engines. At higher speeds it's beneficial to be at a higher rpm in case of road elevation changes to help keep out of or only in low-boost for safety and engine longevity.

I understand I don't HAVE to shift but the car does it for economy and if it can run properly at such a low rpm why are the hwy gears as low as they are? That's basically what I was getting at

3.08 is the stock ratio, I have 3.55 now, didn't goes as aggressive as 3.73
