The main problem area for me is where the dash meets the windshield. It gets pretty ridiculous sometimes, but must especially when it's cold. Outside of that mine is usually pretty quiet with the exception of my phone mount.

Is that all along the dash, or on one side? I have occasionally heard rattling that sounds like it's coming from the center console or right behind the steering wheel, but it's rare.

Do you already have the appointment set up, IAmBort? I can check into some additional assistance.

Not yet. I called a couple of dealerships asking if anyone knew whether this could be fixed and under warranty, but I haven't been able to get through to someone who could help me out. I'll send you a PM.

don't ever buy a Lotus Elise/Exige then... Those things rattle from all over from mile 0 to forever.

My ST doesn't make much noise at all, if any.

I did a safety run (1/2 speed) at an autocross once in a Elise and thought "this thing is rickety for $50k". It drove good though.

My major complaint about the ST is I don't have my down payment big enough yet to get the monthly payment where I can afford it. And I have been working on it for a year.

I don't know man, if it means having a Lotus Elise I think I could overlook some extra rattling...

Of course, I would never make something like that my DD.

Thanks, I got your message. I also saw you mention concerns with your heated seats on another thread. I'll look into that as well.

It's actually a pretty decent car as a DD. Fuel economy is around 25MPG if you don't drive like a maniac.

In regards to the ST, so far, nothing that I really dislike. Not driving it at the moment since I'm waiting for my brake parts but it's a very fun car.

It could be the airbag/ horn cover rattling on the steering wheel at idle. Mine does that at times & I can just lightly pull the cover away a slight bit & That stops the rattling.
