Could be the person bought it assuming they could learn to LIKE driving a stick. And found out they could not stand it?
For newbies a stick in heavy, barely moving freeway traffic is a P.I.T.A.
And might have been too much. So they traded it in.

Makes as much sense as any other problem.

(That problem does not bother me much, but for a new to stick driver it could be a killer... especially if it happened every day while commuting. And say it was one of the Dealers topp employee relative? Or someone they have a long working relationship with? For a good customers son? Taking it back.. Yeah.)

not an ST3...

that may be the first used ST3 I have seen. It seems all the others are ST1 or ST2.

If you qualified for a/z plan then yes you most certainly could get it for less than this.

A/Z plan(Current and retiree and family members) pricing for an ST3 in perf blue with the moon roof MSRP is $27104, so realistically this is too expensive for something with ~8k miles on the clock. If you negotiated hard enough elsewhere you could probably still get a new ST3 for around this price, and definitely an ST2 with delivery miles (0-50) on the clock for basically the same price as a potentially abused and used ST3.

I don't mind traffic with my stick, even though traffic around here is 5-10 people ahead of you at a stoplight. lol
