Not really. Ford has said some additional information, and possibly a build and price, would be out in October. But that was a while ago, and nothing has been said on the matter since.
I still expect to be able to pre-order one in late October.

I have a feeling that the ST will ultimately be about $2k too much (at LEAST), due largely in part to too much useless BS being standard equipment. I wonder if MFT and all that other CRAP will be standard...

I'd like to see a lower cost, no frills option for under $25k. Basically make it an SE sport with better suspension and more power. Don't need huge wheels that look questionable...don't need touch screens...don't need park assist...make it go fast and ride like a go kart.

And another thing....make the stability control able to be deactivated, and put BUTTONS for both that AND the traction control. Quite possibly my BIGGEST complaint with my 2012 is having to cycle through menus to turn off the freakin' traction control. LAME. Especially if the car has the means to actually do something without them on.....

So are you going to upgrade to the ST?

Someone pointed this out, and I hadn't thought about it before.
The ST will have a manual transmission, the Titanium that people are using to compare pricing has an expensive dual clutch automatic transmission in it. There's a $1000 difference between the SE manual and the SE automatic, and I don't believe this is the powershift transmission.

Now, if the ST is more like a bare bones SE with performance parts, the pricing should be only slightly higher than the Titanium. Of course, options like a moon roof, sport seats, MFT and Sync will drive the price up, but if they release a bare bones model, I wouldn't be surprised to see this starting around 25k.

Posted via FF Mobile Like I keep saying, there will most likely be overlap. Ecoboost in itself costs a premium over the NA engines. Im still saying a base price of around 24k. Options onthe ST will be few, itll probably be a moonroof, winter package, improved recaro seats, maybe some interior apperance package, and lastly myford touch. If its around this price sync will most likely be standard, but I cant see myfordtouch being so. Ford knows many enthusiasts who are rowing their own gears wont want it, but itll be an option. But really, I cant think of anything else that could be an option on the ST, its going to come pretty well equipped.

Revoknuckle is just a name, its simply just a different suspension geometry...

So if Buick use's that style of knuckle for their LaCrosse CXS & Regal GS, why not Ford? They are going to get a premium for the ST.

If you're going to FocusFest, you'll get a chance to ask them about Revoknuckle, and what, if anything, they'll be doing to control torque steer.
I think it would really put the ST in a good position to compete with the MS3.

After totaling my 04 Focus SVT, I went and bought a 2010 MS3. I love the car, and if you aren't careful, punching it in second will rip the steering wheel out of your hand, but I will be looking into buying the new ST when it's released. I belong in a Focus. Would have bought another one if they would have had a focus with any power last year when I bought the MS3. Good to see they're getting thier crap together and making some power in the Focus again.
