It's a good looking car. The big grill adds character. I'd definately take it for a test drive if it showed up at my dealer's lot.

Only complaint: no 3door.

If it drives good then maybe could overlook the extra 2 doors.

P.S. I'm trying to forgive you Ford for denying us the RS these many years

YAY, the small redesign of the hood from the earlier photos means we only have to swap the front bumper instead of the front bumper and hood.

Anyone else notice the giant "thing" coming down the middle of the windshield behind the rear view mirror? What is that for?

Mr Mulally and Mr Odell rolling in the ST

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

the black housing around the rearview mirror has sensors inside for example the rain-sensors for the wipers etc.

This Focus has a ton of new tech which many here will not find as a positive, and much of this tech as I understand will not be offered in the North American spec.

I am getting the impression from the N.A. current Focus owners that this next gen Focus is a little hard to understand or to get it. I blame this on the fact that N.A. Focus consumers have been left out of the evolution chain and are probably suffering from shock at the giant leap from what N.A. Focus is currently perceive as and what this new Focus is.

That's where the sensors are if a car is equipped with an active/adaptive cruise control system, where it detects a vehicle ahead and automatically slows your cruising speed down. The sensors used to be more common along the bumper area, but most companies now put them up behind the rear-view mirror to keep repair costs down after a minor accident (or damage from road debris).
