This is listed in the owners guide supplement. Peak boost is 19.5 PSIg at the SAE rated power with 21 PSIg on over boost.

Quote:
* SAE Certified Performance ratings are achieved with 19.5 psi, but up to 21 psi can be delivered to maximize power depending on fuel quality and atmospheric conditions.

mph for each gear? don't see it in the manual

also shouldn't the ratio keep going down for higher gears? how come it drops at 4th then go back up at 5th?

It's still a lower over all gear ratio in 5th even though the gear is shorter due to the split final drive and the 2.955 final drive ratio as part of the three shaft design. Gears 1-4 are on a 4.063 final drive ratio.

1.029*4.063=4.180827
1.129*2.955=3.336195
Lower overall gear ratios are taller, but they didn't want there to be a huge gap in ratio by having fifth gear be below 2.955:1 of the final drive vs the 4.063:1 final drive in 4th.

I can only get around 8 psi boost .. just past the first hash mark on the boost gauge. My ST is stock and would love to get 15 to 20 psi. It's like a governor is set or something like ECO mode but couldn't find any setting to increase boost. If anyone knows what is wrong please advise .. thanks!

Have you tried recording the gauge information or monitoring it with an obd II bluetooth reader and torque? Are you sure you're not just missing when it hits the higher pressures?

You do generally need to accelerate hard to get it to boost beyond waste gate pressures.

Did you buy the car new? If not it may have been tuned and in the cobb eco tune, otherwise it sounds like you were not driving it hard enough to engage the higher boost pressure levels.

Thanks for the reply! Yes i bought it new with 5 miles and up to 5000 now. You might be right about not pushing it to full boost yet. I notice alot more boost in 3rd thru 6th especially when acceleration from lower rpms but the boost just stops right around the first hash mark approximately 8 psi. It feels plenty strong though and I haven't done any WOT launches or even tried to spin the tires. No complaints on the power that's forsure! I'll try a little harder to see if I can reach more boost on the gauge before I worry if there is a problem. Also possible it reached more boost and I didn't notice the gauge cuz I was too busy watching the road and trying to handle the power when hitting higher rpms and shifting.

So does the higher boost levels come at higher rpms? That could be why I haven't noticed the higher boost gauge readings.. too busy watching the road when I hit the higher rpms. I've only hit around 6000 rpms a few times. Like you mentioned I'll push it a little harder and have a passenger check my gauge to see what boost levels are showing.

Thanks for the feedback!

Lower gears are torque limited, and by the time you let it wind a bit in 3rd (foot floored) I can see you watching the road more than the gauge.

Old turbo cars I could never get full boost in a low gear anyways (even though not limited) - shifts come up before I could think of checking!

Thanks Sailor for the feedback and agreement that it can be natural to not notice the boost gauge while accelerating with boost .. This is my first car with boost and for that matter the fastest one I've owned so it takes a bit to get used too and get the balls to really see what it can do!

It should get close to that third mark when it hits peak boost. I've hit it a bunch of times and it impresses people that know what they're looking at. It seems to peak and drop if you hold in a gear too long, too.
