2013 st. cone filter mod
Like it says in the title.. I did a k and n air filter mod on my st. It was well worth the effort in driving back and forth to the store having to get a last min. Clamp to get it to fit in the small space.. but the first thing I did notice was the noise from the air suction it's loud enough to hear it from a distance even my wife was surprised by the difference. Well any questions ask away.. feel free to comment.. I will have a follow up video after I give her a good wash but for now a pic should be good enough.

I respect that you're proud of your DIY of a drop-in filter, but there's no reason to spam it everywhere on the forum.
It's also not a good idea to run the ST with the top of the air box off because it would be drawing in more warm air than cold, causing reduced performance.

Hey sometimes the smallest mods can boost someone's confidence back.. ad for the spamming I just tried to show off my 2 cents on some cheap mods that don't need to break the bank.. as for performance stance it didn't take away anything just gave a nice aggressive sound when I rev up.. I don't (nor did I expect) any changes

Will the air box fit on with that filter and what size is it?

Have a part number for that filter?

Hey I'm sorry for not getting back to quick.. but here's what's on the box 'RE-00930 the opening is like 2.5 in wide.. don't quote me.. but it was 40 dollars u.s. in my local parts store (shucks auto parts store).

Part number follows.. 'RE-0930 it's a universal fit I did however had to buy a coupler adapter like extra 10 dollars on top of the 40 dollars on the filter! It's cheap easy to install I have no experience with much with modding cars I only have done routine maintenance.

What did u use to put the sensor part of the intake to the new filter. The lip on it is really thin

Well the adapter clamp that had to be bought separate was in a two pieces that one over laps and the way the cone filter fit in there was chance only for the fact that I had to cut up the clamp in half in order to fit on the very small lip. Trust me it has no leaks I have driven in rain. Also it's quite easy to fit in the small space. I do warn you though I'm running like a c.a.I. without the housing covering the filter but I figure it should be fine I'm not running through puddles though.. Hey better sound from the turbo like 3x as loud and no harm done to my wallet only 50 US dollars..
