Bullcrap...... Wtf

Ok, Today I installed the new Intake from Winkty... DAMN its a nice piece of work!!!

Unfortunatly I had to modify a couple pieces of my charge piping, and I still need to get one of them re-welded in the morning.

So I have "most" of it hooked up... everything from right infront of the MAF to the TB.. since I had to cut the pipe about 6 inches infront of the MAF to change the approach angle.

Anyways I start it up to see how it idles and it doesnt do too bad......

BUT the AFR is WAYYYY out of whack at idle.. its SUPER rich.

My FJO wideband is showing it around 10.9 with it oscillating up to 11.3 or so.
I've checked everything to make sure that I hooked everything up right, all plug ins are plugged in .... except the IAC since the new manifold does not have a place for it.

Do you think that is whats causing it to run rich... maybe that in conjunction with all the piping not hooked up???

Beats me... I'm tired and pissed.....

It's running too rich, it will blow your motor.

I had to change the one piecce right before the BOV... but only to change the angle, not the length. The pipe going from the MAF to the TB was shortened by about 2.5 inches... thats problely where the problem is.... if I had to guess.

EDIT: I'll call you later today Tom

^^^ Hey John, when you get it all worked out, can we trade cars for a day? LOL j/k

That would actually be a bad idea, if I did actually get to drive your car I would never be satisfied with mine ever again!! LMAO
