2.3 Duratec swap

Wondering if a installed a 2.3 Duratecs in my 2000 zx3 (remove the zetec)
Would I need a differnet ecu and wiring.

Or if a guy had a 2.0 Duratecs and replaced it with a 2.3 and made a stroker out it.
would that work.Just saying if I had a new 2006 and wanted a 2.6 stroker motor.

Yes ECU and wiring would have to be changed , The Dura engine runs on the new KAN ECU

Yes you can replace the 2.0 Dura block with the 2.3 block to go to the larger 2.6 stroker

The powerworks guy told me yeah you have to pretty much get all the wiring behind the dash too. everything was engine specific... which sucks bad!
