GT28RS Kit - Estimate request

How much do you estimate your full turbo kit would cost with a GT28RS? Could I have an estimate for GT28R as well?

I dont use garrette turbos only turbonetics

I offer my turbo in a ball bearing (add 550.00) that i feel is better than the gt28rs and i also feel that my STD full kit turbo is better than the gt28r

but in effort to appease your customers, what would the cost of your kit sans your turbo + turbo customer brings in cost is what im curious about.

i don't know much in the way of turbos compared to you, but i know numbers and i see orange pushing numbers on pump gas that are almost touching the t3 on race gas, so naturally my preference is going to be the best bang for the buck if im shelling out 6000+ dollars on a car worth less than 20K

I am pretty sure "Orange" as you put it,... said he could have bought a Cobra for what he has into his car now? I don't know much in the way of turbos either, but I do know Cobras are more than $6000. ..or maybe I read too much into his statement... NM I was never here.

which may be true, but all that points out is that all the R&D tom needed to do tin order to work a GT28r or rs with his full turbo kit has already been privately funded while still making a profit for his company.

so there's no reason a reasonable estimate can't be made.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the $5000 turbo kit doesn't come with tuning or the hair dye you'll need for your gray hair when your kit finally arrives. Thus the only thing you'd really need is a different flange for the turbo, and a slightly modified downpipe.

Yes he has a GT28RS turbo on that kit but what your not looking at is the TQ , His TQ is lower that a Turbonetics turbo , Now saying that what he has on his car IS NOT 100% my kit and the header piping he has is on the small side

I like the turbonetics turbos for many reasons , I just today tested my new custom turbo and made 227HP and 223TQ with only 10Psi of boost ,
It made 110HP and 160TQ at 3500 RPM
160HP and 210TQ at 4000
185hp and 220tq at 4500
220hp AND 210tq AT 5700

I dont think even the mighty GT28RS will do those numbers , I dont think there is many "truely" making those numbers at 10psi

At 15 he made 274HP 273TQ and we will be pushing it more tommorrow

I realy dont want to make a GT28 Flange and to my kit with it

Tom

You are corrected , YES my full kits come with tuning and now for another 429.00 added they come with the SCT Pro Racer and that comes with a start up tuned file as well

Hair dye , By the time you get my kit you will be bald not gray headed , Buts thats just Trahma everyone else will get them a little sooner than that
