No my intakes are for performance and the EGR takes away from performance with pumping super heated air back through the intake

Quote "If EGR is on during idle, stumble and even stalling will likely result. If EGR is on during hard acceleration, low power (from reduced air/fuel volume) is the result.

****This is why i dont use the EGR , In many cases the EGR systems go out and you have something else to worry about , If the EGR was to fail under boost at WOT it could very easy cause Deto and loose an engine

Quote " At part load, lean mixtures for economy create high combustion chamber temperatures and without EGR, these conditions not only create Nox, they also foster pre-ignition and pinking."

****Altho what he is saying is true there are ways around this with proper tuning and or VCT look at the SVT Focus and the ZX2 , No EGR systems installed on either as well as many other cars for years ,

EGR and Performance do not go hand in hand

Tom I am interested to hear what measures you take to prevent NOx. I am not doubting your abilities but rather am intriqued.

when can we expect pricing and numbers for this intake manifold?

im thinking about designing a independant TB's setup over the winter with a plenum BEFORE the TB's. i know its gonna be extremely complicated and a PITA to tune, but the advantages are crazy and a local guy can help me with the calulations, and it seems no one has a good enough/decent priced alternative to just designing something for your own app.
