Tom, how do I know?

Tom, I just bought a Focus. It is a 2005 standard ZX5 SES. I live I Toronto, Canada and was wandering if I could add some performance to the car. I believe it has 136hp right now. I do like the car it is black with Charcoal leather and 16in rims with Pirelli tires. I got power everything.

I have noticed that the stick feels a little messy and the rear break cable sqeaks. Can this be fixed?

Also I'm not sure what engine I have but I would like to get more power out of it. What would you suggest to say push it up to around 175hp?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Bailey

There is other shifters you can change to and a little WD40 would prob help the squeek

As for power , My STG1 kit would fit the bill for 170 to 200HP at the wheel

How much will that set me back in Canadian Dollars, and will the modifications shorten the lifespan of the engine significantly?

I am very interested, however I've noticed that you are located in the states. Could I have the products installed buy another mechanic here in Toronto?

Thanks for the info.

How much is the tuning and what exactly is involved in the tuning? (what does the mechanic do in order to "tune" the car?)

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait. What are the differences between my engine and the one you make the turbo for?

I have done a little research and I think I'll pick up the Iceman Cold air intake and Magnaflow exhaust system. It seems that I will be able to install the cold air intake myself but the exhaust will have to be installed by a professional.

Can anyone tell me approximately how much HP these two products will give my car? Will they be truly noticeable?

And I've been looking for smoked tail light covers but am unable to find any. Could someone point me in the right direction, say with a link to a site. Thanks in advance guys. This site has already been a great help.

Bailey

Someone could tell you if those parts would fit... Duratec doesn't have a iceman intake or a magnaflow exhaust. The motor faces the entirely opposite direction, intake in front and exhaust in back. Look in the direction of marcy motorsports and cosworth brand parts.
