Will my Engine Blow

I Have a 2000 ZX3 5 speed with 137,000 miles and evey time i hit the interstate i find my self to be racing other drivers.... I will be running about 70 mph and Down shift to Fourth and stomp it about 90% of the time i pull ahead of the other driver is this extremly hard on an enigne and trans.. I know it cant be to good but i love the speed... I have had it to 120 no shut off or nothing it is Not an SVT either

2 blow outs
1 Accident
0 injuries
hundreds of bucks to repair
and can still burnout in 2 gear.

my personal thought is: I wouldn't be driving like that. Especially with that mileage, and if you want it to last I'd knock it off.

Isn't this the wrong forum for this?

anytime you drive like that its going to be hard on your car. you are basically beating the piss out of it. if you want to drive like that you might want to take precautions like: higher speed rated tires so you dont have anymore blowouts, synthetic oil so you dont fry anything, a short shifter so you dont lose a gear, but honestly with all those miles its just a matter of time before you lose a gasket or something else fails. point being cut your driving back a little or rebuild your engine so it can take the abuse. its a focus...not a racecar.
