Exclamation Focus Power?

Alright so i need to replace my engine in my focus that i got 2 months ago... long story but, ive been looking into getting one of the complete engines from focus power nothing too quick something around 300hp would be fine. My dad has a shop and can do most of the work, how much would it all cost overall and do they have a good rep? is it worth getting this instead of another used svt engine from the junk yard? i appreciate any help im new to the car world i was a jeeper and now im desperate haha.

I had the same thing happen to me brotha. I know that pain lol. The owner of FocusPower is on here, his username is turbotom I think. I'm sure you could send him a PM and ask, but his website says they start at 3500 bucks. http://www.focus-power.com/view.php?...mplete_Engines

Focus-power does have an excellent reputation around here though. Tom is supposed to be one of the best tuners for the Focus out there. If you do end up wanting to look for a used engine though, this website helped me find mine: http://car-part.com/

Good luck with the car man! Update us with more info as you progress.

i seriously doubt you are going to get to 300whp without some kind of boost. it could probably be done on a N/A SVT engine but i doubt it would be very friendly for daily driving anymore.

tom is hands down one of the best tuners and builders out there for the focus. dont let his internet spelling and grammar fool you. he is damn good

I think Iminhell was working on getting the 200w HP mark N/A and has spent a fair amount. dont think its possible on the 2.0L Zetec. over bore it out and stroke it? dont know but Tom can get you set up with the best that's available.
