Predator - refresher for removing and installing tunes

It's been a while and I could use a refresher; Long story short, it is questionable whether I actually have Tom's tune installed or the Diablo tune. I want to install the backup copy of Tom's tune he emailed me. So please correct me if I'm wrong - I need to do the following:

1 - I assume I need to first remove the present tune from the SVTF and the Predator will install the factory tune back into the car (?)

2 - Download Tom's emailed tune into the Predator as a Custom Tune

3 - Load the new Custom tune into the car, Predator will retain factory tune

If the above steps are correct, could someone kindly walk me thru this? I have the cheat sheet Tom included with the Predator for reinstalling the new emailed file (step 2) but frankly I could use input and suggestions on all of it. I'm old and my memory isn't what it used to be (if I could remember what it was like......).

A link to a thread that has this info would be great - I searched a good bit and there's lots of info but I'm not sure what applies to my situ and what doesn't. The threads I found were for different problems, I think.

TIA!

Thanks Tom, but let me make sure I understand, because the Predator manual says NEVER, EVER install a new tune over an aftermarket tune (which in my car is either your tune or the Predator Perf tune).

So I can go ahead and install your tune over whatever is already in my car - yes?

Also, my Predator says the last tune installed was "Custom Tune" - that HAD to be Tom's tune, correct? Otherwise it would have said "Performance Tune" ?

Yes Custom Tune is my tune and you can install another custom tune in on top BUT if it says the last tune written was custom tune then my tune is still in there , if it were the diablo tune it would say Performance tune

Tom
