E-bay Turbo Kits

Whats up guys?

Ok so heres the deal i'm looking to put a cheap turbo kit on my 2002 ZX3 the only ones i can really find that are in my price range right now are the ones on e-bay. i'm just looking for advice about the e-bay kits, ive heard many different things about them but i would just like some first hand experience and i also want to know what i'm getting into before i spend the money. how much fab work is there? is it even worth it for the little boost that you get?

The car has close to 100,000 miles and i want to mod it but would the better option be to skip the turbo and just buy engine parts or is the turbo worth it? what is the power gain like with her e-bay turbos? please let me know.

i don't have first hand turbo experience but i would think you should get started with other parts first

ebay kits look good but it yo knew anything about turbo kits you would see the a pile of the cheapes crap people could throw togather to make a buck

99% is them would take a TON of fab work to make them work and I would say between 20 to 40% of it would end up in the tash

You would be better off starting with my DIY turbo kit , It comes with
Turbo manifold
Both down pipes
all piping
Intercooler
For 1495.00

Then get the turbo 795.00

Then as you have the cash buy the other items needed to finish the kit

Cheap isnt a word I would use when talking about a turbo kit , If you dont do it right you will be looking for an engine

Why is this in Focus-powers' forum and not the forced induction forum... that's like going onto the Ford GT website and asking about a Chevy Aveo...
