tune impressions

well after calling sct and finding out my laptop is crappier than i thought it was i got the tune installed.

my first drive i didn't notice anything different really. There was nothing spectacular like everyone raves about(i hope it gets better). car drives damn near the same as stock.

so will this tune get better as i drive because right now i feel like i threw my money away.

so after about an hour of driving around the problems are starting got 3 codes so far one of which went away for now.

p0122 - throttle pedal position A (tp-a) ckt low input (short ckt)

and p1506 - idle air control (iac) over speed error.

also the car idles at 1000-1100 no matter what. for me that is wat to hight the stock idle was perfect.

I have come up with a new policy , those that post publicly about issues with my products BEFORE they give me a chance to fix any issues there unhappy with are on there own

I am tired of the pis moaning about issues with something and I havent been given the chance to correct them first , your unhappy with my tune and showing a bunch of codes that have nothing to do with the tune go figure , You should of come to me first and given me the chance to correct thise issues

If you PM Tom he responds in a very timely manner, is very helpful, as well as polite and a pleasure to deal with. I can understand his frustration with making negative feedback public before contacting him personally. I would just PM him or anyone next time you have any concerns.

Oh, and my last post wasn't meant to be like an As$hole remark, just a suggestion.

well in all fairness, your tune is well liked around here and said to be "the best tune you'll ever have". So its easy to assume customers will think it will make a big difference in their car or at least noticeable difference.

Yes every car is different but if your going to market it as "the best tune you'll ever have" then it should be able to start off with a bang for your buck. I rode in Faster's focus and there was lil difference, other then the new check engine light appearing and the code saying the throttle pedal position was open ckt and closed ckt, then it started to drive itself in a straight line for a bit b4 we had to stop.

Sure he could have gone and PM'd you tom thats one way, but not gonna lie you are a hard man to get a hold of and get prompt replies. Im sure you try your hardest, but with posting this here there is also an upside. He now has your attention and things can be squared away, this can be used for future reference. No need to get huffy about some bad tune review, your bound to make mistakes here and there, i know its your business but how are you supposed to grow if you dont get a lil tossed here and there.

And dont think this is me telling u how to do things im just saying what i think and being done with it.

But overall the tune wasn't very astounding as i had hoped, maybe new parameters need to be changed i dunno.
