first off when i crank it up and give it gas the rpms drop really low kinda like boggin down and the more gas i give it the worse it is. it takes more gas to start moving. When the car starts the rpms go up high then come down to about 1300 rpms and stays there for a while then comes down to a little below 1000.

and the tuner itself the area where the cord goes into the tuner looks like there is electrical tape around it and the cord is like pulled out so i can see the wires and when i try to log it says incificent memory

hmm weird. ive never tried logging stuff.
i got mine from tom as well.
as far as the start up rpms and etc. thats normal. the idle after warm up is aroun 900.
before it was 700 (stock estimate)

do you have a CEL?
i have the same issues with the startup it will go up real high aroun 2K or 1800 and then will go to about 1250 then drop down to about 950 (67mmTB with the idle screw adjusted to slightly open)

i have bad front o2 sensor and IMRC stuck open so thats the cause of some stuff to mine.
i ran the stock OEM platinum plugs and the car ran way better, once i put the copper cores everyone suggests it ran hesitant and didnt have s much get up and go.

Im kinda confused why you want tom to give you a refund b/c there is a problem with the tune when he can always adjust the tune for you. Im sure he could fix the problem. Kinda like me asking for a refund after tom's first file he sent me didnt work b/c I didnt give him my maf info.
