Nitrous Tuning Question

Tom, I'm buying a used Cold Fusion Dry nitrous system from a friend who is already using it on his SVT sprayin a DRY 50 shot.

I have a SCT XCal2 and would like to turn it up and spray a DRY 75 shot, but I dont know if I really need to worry with tuning or not since its dry and will probably not deliver as much of a charge. I'm going dry b/c I'm getting a hell of a deal on it, and its just so much fun.

It will be daily driven and I just dotn know how necessary the tuning is and if so, could you send me a tune for it, or would I be better having it dyno'd? I'd like a tune for the strip and a "safe to spray" daily.

Thanks,

Erickson

Dry does not = safe

Yes I can do you a tune but you will need a wide band o2 and I charge 250 for the nitrous tune

hey man you do know how easy it is to go from dry to wet right?

here let me help you out
2 fuel lines
1 wetshot nozzle
1 fuel solenoid
1 fuel rail fitting adapter
1 fuel "pill"
adequate mounting hardware
Tom's tune

you can use these parts, which will cost you about 150 bucks (except for the tune), and you will have a harder hitting, "safer" shot. all you have to do for the install is hook up the wiring of the fuel solenoid to the wiring for the nitrous solenoid, pop in a slightly bigger fuse (about +5 to 10 amps to whats in it), replace the dry nozzle with the wet one, install the adapter, run the lines, and burn the tune. you will be out buying tires in no time. just make sure you check your #4 spark plug for burn burn off or deposits afterwards. last thing that you need is to be rebuilding your motor cuz your timing was off or your plugs were gapped too hot.JB

I'm payin like 300 for the cold fusion kit, and for 150 more, I might as well just get a whole wet kit? like Zex or NX? but then you get into window switches and shit like that...

Tom, I'm not trying to argue, but what makes DRY kits unsafe?

Dry means NO fuel is being injected in with the nitrous , the kit hooks into the electronics and opens the injectors in a way that isnt allways good
