Exclamation Removing air resonator box on air box...good or bad?

Does removing the air Resonator on the air box really cause that much of a gain or is it pointless? Does it lower your gas at all, or affect the car in any negative ways? Just curious what you think.

it only make the intake noisier (ie. sound better)
go for it, there are no problems with it.

I would like to get me a nice intake but the problem is comming up with the money. I just purchased the car so i have payments, and my insurance is pretty high cause i didnt have insurance for a while. So if you know where i can get a good deal or if anyone is selling one let me know I would love to get my hands on one but got to watch the price.

Yeah it's just an empty plastic box that keeps the noise down, go ahead and take that sucker out and you get a little swush type sound.

Take the cover off and remove the filter. You will see how to remove it. It is very easy!

This mod does basically nothing. Gives you little more sound, and I "emphasize" little. Hardly noticable, big deal. I did it and put it back on cause why do something that has no affect on performance.
