will resetting the ecu effect the tune ?

ive got toms tune now.
ill be adding an 65mm Tb and new air filter this weekend.

should i disconnect the battery to reset the ecu for the new TB?
if so, will this affect the tune ?

Why is it good to clear the ECU every few months? Does this include Factory tuned cars?

I totally agree. I've found especially helps with drastic temparature changes. I reset mine about once a month and reflash about every 2 months.
