2.3 zetec complete engine

Hi Tom,

How much is a complete turbo 2.3 zetec engine cost outright?
With big valves etc
Looking for a bomb proof torque monster.
What compression would you recommend 400whp on 98 octane?
Could a Kennebell with an green SVT pump support my needs?
Can this be done on 2.5 inch intercooler pipe work with Ford Racing inlet and 70mm tb?

Thanks mate,

Charlie

Complete engine with all the mods you talk about and a few more that are not listed is about 3800.00

Yes the late pump and the BAP should do the job

2.5 is plenty big for 400

Tom

How much more would it be with a Pro Racer Package? Also what would be the lowest octane you could run for normal driving?

Hold on, are you asking about a complete stroker 2.3 Zetec engine? I thought just the shortblock was $3,895 so how could the complete engine be $3,800?

Ok hit the BREAKS , WOW , STOP , I missed where he said 2.3 Zetec and was thinking Duratec

Components:
Focus-Power 4340 billet stroker crank
Focus-Power 4340 billet stroker rods. Custom length w/Maxi-Light stroker design
Custom pistons. Modified pin boss for longer rod, specify compression (9:1 - 14+:1) & bore size
Premium, H-11 tool steel pins, gapless, locks, spacers
Works with factory rod and main bearings
This is for a FULLY BUILT SHORTBLOCK all Machine work is finished and Short Block is Assy in either a ZX3,SVT block with ARP main studs

Pricing:
$3895.00
Add $1000 for WRC Block (25% Stronger)
Add $425 Billet Main caps (Installed bored and line honed)
So for a short block your looking at 5220.00

For a complete 2.3 Stroker engine your looking at about 6950.00 depending on what cams , cam gears , and that is a fully ported head , big valves , cams , cam gears , oil pans , head studs , timing belt ,

Tom
