Super charger for the Duratec

Hey All,
Is there anyone working on a supercharger for the newer (05-07) Duratecs?

NO, sadly, Cosworth was into developing one once, but we've heard nothing since. Right now with the economy the way that it is- it's not a brilliant idea to put lots of money into research building something people can't afford.

Focus-Power specializes in the biggest baddest turbos you can force into the engine compartments of these cars. I'm not sure but the majority of the Foci on this site with 4 cyl over 300hp are cars with Focus Power parts.

The Duratec engine placement is a bit better suited for a turbo anyway

The only one I think would work is an ATI procharger. There are a few turbos as well. Check with Mcnewsautomotive.com or Tom and see what all is available. They have been several turbos in the works lately. I believe Tom and Ray have tuned a few already.

I really doubt the Procharger will work at all. That would require alot of fab work just to mount it. I wish they would but the sales for the zetec's didnt suggest that theres enough of a market for continuing to the Duratec.

Thanks for the replies, I would rather have a supercharger, but I'll start looking at the turbos.

I thought I saw one on here mounted up to a duratec, but perhaps I am mistaken. The memory mushes all-together.
