Mod assisntance required

Hey everyone. I am getting my new zx4 gfx sedan this wednesday and I am looking to imporve the performance of the engine. I would prefer to get both torque AND hp but if I had to choose, it would definitely be more torque.

Anyways, after reading and reading and reading, it seems like i'll have to "open the enigne up" by allowing more air to flow in and then more air to flow out. So I came up with a list of mods I need to buy over this year so I can achieve my goal of getting more power out of this 2.0L duratec:

1) FS ZX4/Sedan Exhaust - 8v SPI/16v Zetec/2.0L & 2.3L Duratec (400CDN)
2) FS Ford Focus 2.3L/2.0L Duratec - Cosworth 4-1 Race Header (450CDN)
3) FS Ford Focus 2.3L/2.0L Duratec Automatic Trans - Cosworth Flex Pipe (150CDN)
4) Steeda Cold Air Intake Kit for 2.0 & 2.3 Duratec (300CDN)
5) FS XCalibrator 2 - Ford Focus - Auto Trans Duratec 2.0L (400CDN)
6) 195/65ZR15 Yokohama AVS ES100 Blackwall Tires (400CDN)

So what do you think about this setup? I think it should run me about 2500$ (installation costs and shipping cost included). Is it worth it? How much more HP do you think I'll get? What about torque? MPG? Servicing requirements? etc... anything I need to know please let me know. Thx.

Yeah I was looking at the Turbo options, but they are too expensive and I really don't need that much power. Besides I don't want to have my engine doing that much more work because then I'll have to get it serviced so much more.

I also want to try and install these mods myself so I can learn more about cars and how they work.

If you have 2500 to spend, go turbo or you will wish you had.

yep if you have 2500 or you wish you had. the turbo isnt any harder to install then a header. and you only have to service it more if you race it a lot. get some good oil and you will be fine. you can find a used kit and that will help as far as the cost, that is what i did. and you can tune it for the power that suits you, but as long as you get a good tune and take car of it your engine will be fine.

This person has a duratec, and you will not find a supercharger for it.
You probably won't find a turbokit for $2500 either, Tack on another $800 and you are just about there.

Well, okay I guess I'll wait for a supercharger to come out for the duratec 20 because they seem to be cheaper in general. In the meantime I'll get my yokohama tires and new suspension to lower the car by 1".

You think 1" will make a nice difference in appearance without being too low to the ground so i can't go over speedbumps and stuff?
Any suggestions on the type of spring I should get?
