DIY Power mods.

Anyone got any tips on how to get more power from a 1.6 Zetec SE, without breaking the bank.

Thanks.

It all depends on what you consider"breaking the bank". Its all reletive I guess.

I'd start with the obvious mods CAI, UDP, tune, exhaust ect, ect

Small things. Stuff i can go down to the parts shop and put in myself.

Heard about upgrading spark plugs and induction kits. Might go for a tune when i get some spare cash.

What does UDP mean?

you can make your own cai or sri for under 50 bucks, exhuast, bring it to a local shop and have them do one uo for you, usually under 200 bucks, buying used parts off this forum saved me a hnadful of cash, check out the marketplace area for good deals, but you have a 1.6 so it may be tough
