Got the tune, now a couple questions.

Hey Tom, I bought a predator from you about a month ago. Installed it and it solved the rough startup and surging. That alone was worth the money. Now sometimes when coming to a stop the idle wil drop to around 500 then back to 1k. It will do it a few times very fast and then stabilize aroun 900. Also if I sit still in traffic for more than a couple minutes it will start doing the same thing. It didnt do this before the tune. Is this a normal problem and it there anything to cure it?

Thanks, Tim Chavis

You will have to contact Steeda and they will have to deal with it but they dont install a custom tune on thers they just sell the unit

You should get my custom tune and give it a try most say it is much better then the Performance tune

Ok, today it got worse. If I was going say 60mph with the cruise on and pushed the clutch all the way in to turn the cruise off and coast the rpms would dip so low the car would shut off. It did that twice and 4-5 other times it dipped low and made the battery light come on. When the rpms went back to normal the battery light went off. The more accessories that are on (heat, lights, radio, wipers) the worse it does it. So I reinstalled the factory tune and took the car out. I turned every accessorie on and tried to get it to happen. It just wouldnt do it with the factory tune. Do you have any suggestion, besides coming to your shop? I guess I will if its a last resort. I just hate to pay $350 for something and not be able to use it. Aprecciate any hep.

OK, I used the factory tune all day today and the car ran so much better than it did with the custom tune. Well I decided to try to load the custom tune back tonight and the first screen that comes up says "performance tune" where I think it used to say "custom tune." Need some help here, dont really know whats goin on with this thing.

Thats strange because once the tune is in there isnt anything in the tune that will make it change other then something on the car telling it to

As a safety i now only give one load on the custom tune and then it goes back to the performance tune , try the performance tune and see what it does and i can email you the custom tune or swing by and i will reload it on the predator for you

If you come by with your car there wont be a charge to check it and see why it is acting funny at idle , Is the idle part the only issue
