Pro Racer software, how versatile?

I am wondering how versatile the Pro racer software is.

Can I use it on more than 1 Xcal2 for different cars.
The reason I ask this.

I have a friend with a 2.3turbo motor (old mustang ones) with MAF on a EEC. So, if my Ford memory serves me correctly that is the same Processor programming used in the Focus, and all other Ford maf eqipped vehicles.

I have another friend with a poor running 94stang. He modded it but didnt tune it, so as you know the ECU is now pitching a bitch fit.

I assume you would have to have different XCAL2 for each car, but could 1 copy of the software (only used on 1 pc) tune all the cars.

No , The older EEC4 is nothing like the newer EEC5 it would take 2 full PRP kits do do that job

So, one PRP kit is set up for the EEC4 and the other is for the EEC5. Do you know what the differences are.
I know your right, SCT says you need to kits. But, what isnt SCT telling us? I dont think they would write 2 completely different programs, that would be ineffecient. I wonder if you couldnt manipulate one to work for both??

If you do not want to give your opinion I understand, but could you tell me what is different in the EEC4 to the EEC 5. I know the components are different, but what about the software, and firmware. Are they the same, different, or is the EEC5 just a updated version of the EEC4.

You have to have seperate programs as well, each PRP is only good for 1 ecu code... even if your tune the same type of car..

For example if your PRP is setup for YRF0 you can only tune in YRF0, you cant tune in older versions like RLA6, RLA2 even though they are SVT ECU codes as well... you CAN overwrite the other versions but you cant tune IN those versions.

The EEC4 and EEC5 is day and night , Much like the EEC5 and the SVT Black Oak ECU altho the ECU looks the same that is where the ECU being the same ends

I do think SCT has some EEC4 PRP kits tho and i have the best deal on them

Off subject,
Tom, we are trying to put together a G2G at Mid-Ohio in the spring. We want to rent the track for a day. The cost is 9k. We need 90 ppl at 100 a piece. Do you think 90 is to many for one day?
Also, would you be intrested in coming. And, do you know of any other vendors that would want to come/sponsor the G2G. We are opening up to Fords in general not just Foci.

Also, could you PM me your shop number, I cant find it on your site. Or just post it here. Im going to need some SCT PRP.
