Essential Amino Energy has worked well for me. I usually will take a scoop of it mixed with water about a half hour before I work out. I've tried N.O. Xplode, hoping to find something with Creatine already mixed in but it makes my head feel like it's full of newspaper and I end up not getting as good of a work out. Essential Amino gives me a little extra kick and motivation without knocking me on my ass. It's also nice if you cycle on and off creatine.

Work on a sound meal composition pre and post workout. I don't recommend any supplements to my clients(except caffeine in rare cases) and I show them this video clip when they ask me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vxrTMYXpZo

I used to take Jack3d.... it's really good...

UNTIL...

I took Muscle Pharm Assault - Raspberry Pink Lemonade, and it's crazy awesome. It taste like a drink I would normally take, it has the tingly-ness of Jack3d and it has an awesome pump! I highly recommend it. On websites it has a 9/10 - 10/10.
