Same with me. I have lost maybe 10-15 pounds, but I have dropped about a pant size so far. I eat like a pig. For lunch today, I had 4 eggs, 2 egg beaters, some whole milk, salami, 2 pieces of American cheese etc. I eat alot of meat and a relatively high fat diet. Even though I am not really losing, I am transferring/shrinking. Also, I should mention that I lost 10-12 pounds all in the first week I started lifting, and that was about 3 months ago.

creatine is a great supp for increasing strength and size gains. in short it works by saturating the cells with water; making the ATP prodoction more efficient. this gives you more strenght and stamina. make sure you stay hydrated while taking it, as if you are not properly hydrated, it is very hard on your kidneyes. (make sure your pee is clear to light yellow lol)

Creatine is better in shake form than pill form also. There are also creatine/protein blends. For the best results, buy protein and creatine seperate, since creatine should be taken before working out to allow you to push that much more. Protein should be taken within about a half hour after working out to give your body something to rebuild muscle tissue with. Spend a little extra and get protein powder with BCAAs (branched chain amino acids).

Complex carbs are also part of my pre-workout intake for long burning energy. I have good results with casein protein post workout.

And I second the above post... make sure you drink plenty of water when using creatine. (Although you should be drinking plenty of water during workout anyway)

I drink alot of water normally, but try not to drink too much while working out. I hate that full feeling while working out.

sweet man, i found not using straps helped a lot in grip strength and also forearm growth. i was also able to get a better mind-muscle connection in my back.

smart move my man. although a week might be a bit long of a break. just make sure that piss is clear and your good!

as for me, i finally got back some motivation to put on some size. i'm pumped! aiming for 10 lbs by the end of the year. luckly for me i put on size pretty easy ONLY if i eat enough. i'm currently 5'6" at 174 and pretty lean. legs are 24.5" right now. lookin to break 180 and reach my end year goal of 184. and after i reach that, ima keep goin!
