Any Mandrel bend shops in DFW?

I noticed on my exhaust, what I thought were true mandrel bends...looks to have that crimped slightly during the bend process on the inner sides........I never noticed it until I changed my tires off for 225 and was making sure they fit ok.........and its continued to bug me ever since.

so, I am in the market for another catback.......I don't know of any shops in my area that can do true mandrel bends and I don't trust that shop anymore...or maybe I just just fork over the dough for a preassembled one, although I hate paying for shipping on something I might be able to get locally first.

I have been, besides the one I usually go to in Mesquite, can't find any. Oh well, guess I will stop by and talk to them this evening and see if they will replace that section for free.

shipping on preassembled setups isnt that bad. when i got mine from mcnews i only paid 40 for shipping and the monstrous box weighed 70lbs. if you do decide to get a new setup borla is the only way to go for a focus...mmmm, yummm. makes me want to go drive just so i can hear my exhaust.

I thought you had a magnaflow exhaust. I like yours, and you even have all the bolts ons and its not obnoxious loud.

I may just save up for a preassembled kit eventually.

i have the borla kit. i have heard that the magnaflow gets really ricey with a header, even resonated. i think that the 2.3L setup that mcnews carries fits on the 2.0L as well. im not sure about the fitment though. give them a call and i am sure that they will be able to answer you.
