Help, in need of zetec oil pan in Houston area
My oil pan has minor crack near the drain :( jb welded and hoping I could limp it to home but nope parked nearby friend's house in Pasadena. I am hoping if one of you guys have oil pan laying around so I could replace it by tmw morning.
What happened is that my heavy friend didn't tell me that his other friend is heavy too -_- totaling almost 600 pounds and went thru bad part of road.

Nope, I don't think any of us have an extra oil pan laying around, cause if we did I would have gotten it by now lol. I need a new oil pan myself.

I also moved your thread to the Texas section so people who are in Houston can see your thread.

Thanks for moving the thread to proper place.
I am depending on my luck for posting this up lol. I am stuck one hour from home.

If it was me and depending on how bad it's leaking I'd buy a lot of oil and try to make it home stopping every so many miles to add more oil.

Lol I thought of that, I already wasted a fresh oil.
I am just really exhausted tonight, crashing at my friends house and will see what happens tomorrow. I guess I will have to tape it up more with duct ha.

The oilpan is available from the Ford dealer for less than $100. Also from Rockauto for about $65.

What ever works to limp it home I say. Just make sure you don't do something that make it worse.

Though the RockAuto price is the better price, I believe he is looking for a good option available now and not waiting for shipping.

Seems to be his only means of transportation.

I would check with the autoparts store get a pan and some gasket maker. A couple of beers, some socket wrenches, clean, gasket maker, put back in place and voila, back in business. ... oh and some new oil. [;)]

Made home safely with dripping jb welded and plastered with duct tape :p here is the carnage pictures :)

Skid plates is definitely next thing on my list!
Autozone sells new pan for $60, it needs to be special ordered so I might pop up tomorrow. It is not my only means of transportation, I am able to use wj jeep anytime.
