Houston crowd, install?
Well if my intake and my stress bar come in on Tuesday I would like to install them on Wednesday. Which brings me to the point of the post, anyone up for an install Wednesday morning/afternoon. Would anyone be up for that? And if so where at?

hmmm sounds interesting, but where?

jmiller_1974 05-08-2010 03:09 AM

I'd come by, those are about the easiest mods to do. Intake shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, and that includes disconnecting the battery.

Only problem is, I'm not driving 8 hours round-trip for a less-than-one-hour install.

^^ I know we can't even get him to drive up for an all day event[poke] how are you going to get an hour out of him.
JUST KIDDING JASON!!! You know I love you man.

Justin, the stress bar is the simplest thing to put on. You remove a few bolts and put the bar over the studs and put them pack on. I believe you only have to remove 2 bolts per side.

Yeah I know but I am mostly using the install as an excuse to hang out and possibly drink some beer. I am assuming that a socket wrench is needed at some point and that is virtually the only basic tool I don't have.

And again hanging out is fun too. [8D]

^You can actually do it all with just open ended combo wrenches. Its just going to take a long time.
