Saturday May 8th Salt Lick Lunch Meet
Okay, I know this is kinda short notice, but I just saw a thread on FJ about a gentleman who is going to be stopping off at the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX with His shiny, new 2010 Focus RS, and I thought it would be neat to have some folks show up and say "HI!"

Link to food:

I know this is the same weekend as the Round Up, but this would be a fun lil afternoon for those of Us who can't go to the big fun stuff in Dallas.

Me, too. But I'm assuming most folks will be at TXFR'10.

Why doesnt he just bring it to TXFR'10 and join the rest of us.

WRCwannabe 04-21-2010 07:54 AM

he told me (pm's) and posted in the thread that he was goign to drive it to austin for some bbq, (this is like month+ ago) and i suggested maybe getting a little get together for some of the guys and let them see the car and chat and everything.

he said his plan was to drive to austin and get some bbq and then have the car shipped back to Chicago, he doesnt want to drive 20 hours with a brand new 50k car. i wouldnt take the risk either.

so going to dallas would require a little extra drive after the wtfrsbbq meet

^^And after eating all that BBQ, a nap would be more in order than an almost 4 hour drive, lol.

i am deffinately going to try and go to this...but idk it depends ion when i get into town

WRCwannabe 04-27-2010 06:56 AM
