So still thinking about doing vinyl on my hood and roof. Especially since the paint on the hood is not in the best of shape....scratches, chips and such. So looking for some input since some of the 3M vinyl has come down in price lately. Only $110 to do hood and roof. I'm considering either matte black or satin black. My car is Twilight Blue metallic. Originally was thinking about matte but then 3M released the satin. Just don't want the actual gloss black as I have no gloss black parts on my car. My wheels are a flat/satin black depending on how dirty they are lol.
Started WAY too early for this route. Knocked out 4-24hr stores before 4am and now I'm sitting in front if my 5th store and they don't open till 7am...fml

I disagree with the others....satin black is where it's at. would look good with your car [thumb] JMO and the only one that should matter [deviltail] JK lol
I would vote matte as I have seen that on a car before and loved it. Also, I agree with the plasti-dip. It's $5 a bottle and if you mess it up, you can just peel off an start over. I had a LOT of fun playing with it this weekend and it was REALLY easy. It's also sold at HomeDepo so no ordering was required.
yeah i have it on my stocker svt 6spokes..
but now that i have a second set of rollers (haha)
i am going to paint them gloss black with lime green accents...
The blue SVT with orange wheels is real. I have seen him multiple times in Spring/The Woodlands. Chapa bought some parts from him back when he still had his Focus.
Also, had a great time at WekFest this weekend. Thanks to Tommy for keeping me company for a bit and helping to shout at chicks on the street. Also thanks to Alex for lending me his garage and a place to sleep. (And sorry to Tommy that I couldn't get you in like we planned).
No problem bro! The guys here really enjoyed your car too! Like I said, let me know what things you all got going on down there and I'll try to make it!
Well came to find out my condensser was misaligned and rubbed a hole in the radiator
