Wanna wrap my cai to see what kind of difference I notice compared to my Steeda sri. Just waiting on cfm to send out the wrap. Placed my order over the weekend and they aren't shipping out til Thursday. Kinda disappointed it took so long to ship since it was in stock. Oh well.

That sucks paul.

Im thinking of moving my battery with the duratec battery tray. I would love to relocate it to the hatch, but I dont want to have to deal with all the wires.

It's only one wire, the other wire goes to the frame, I think...

If you relocate battery to hatch you need a sealed box that has a vent to go through your floor. Otherwise you get alot gas buildup inside your car. And of course you need wire to run to the back of the hatch, a fuse to put online, ground and maybe a distribution block. Steeda has a kit that I think is a couple hundred bucks.

Yup ... and Justin, in our rides, you actually need 2 wires. Negative and Positive Side.

It's a pain from what I have heard. That's why I am looking in to the Braille Batteries ... lightweight and same performance as the Optima Batteries.

Weight - regular battery (35-38lbs) / Optima battery (31-34lbs) / Braille battery (6-10lbs)

WOW! How much do those cost? are they much smaller? Cause in order to take my battery out at the moment, I have to take off my tower strut bar. Which is a PAIN IN THE ARSE!

They are lot smaller. Less than half the size. I've seen odyssey ones(similar) for around $120-$140. Not to sure on braille $$$. Have seen them mentioned lately and been meaning to look into them. In our gen cars you can remove old battery and tray and fab a holder out of flat steel like a cradle that you can then mount to the frame rail with a couple bolts. So not only do you shave the weight but you also then lower that 6-10lbs helping to lower center of gravity a little.

So took a quick look at the Braille website. Battery that seemed most suited to our cars was 15lbs and about $168 regular case or $275 carbon case(suppose to protect battery from engine heat). Battery can mount vertical or horizontal and they sell an aluminum mounting case for $75. They also had lithium ion even smaller for close to $2000 lol.
